During the break from writing the blog, I took a trip.This is what I did--
- crossed the Pacific Ocean by ship--10,880 km or 6760 miles.
- took seven air plane flights
- crossed the International Date Line 5 times
- crossed the Equator twice
- visited five countries: Peru, Chile (Easter Island), United Kingdom (Pitcairn Island), French Polynesia, and New Zealand
- visited 8 islands: Easter Island, Pitcairn Island, Tahiti, Bora Bora, North and South Island and Waiheke Island in New Zealand, and Oahu in Hawaii
- enjoyed eating in terrific restaurants in New Zealand, including Elephant Hill, Te Whau, and The French Cafe, rated one the the best 100 restaurants in the World
- began to like Sauvingnon Blanc
- learned to paint with watercolors
- began to write my memoirs
- reconnected with old friends in New Zealand
- Had a great time!
